Petite Portrait Sessions are great for parents who want just a few keepsake images. At C’est l’Amour Photography, we offer these portrait sessions year long either inside or outside weather depending. In the past year, we’ve held Valentine’s Day, Spring, and Christmas Portrait Sessions.

After the Christmas Rush, our next big event is for Children to have their Portraits done in the Spring. Spring is one of my favourite seasons. The reasons are endless: flowers, scarves, layers, flats, and … baby chicks!

At C’est l’Amour Photography, we did include live baby chicks in our Spring Portrait Sessions. Although this is a very controversial topic, we do everything we can to ensure that both children and animals are safe.

A way to find out how children will respond to live baby chicks, is by putting baby chicks beside the child. Will the child touch them? Scream? Squeeze? If the answer to any of these questions is YES, then the child will not be allowed to hold them. It’s as simple as that.
